Does Latisse have side effects?

Do you sometimes get irritated that we have to get a prescription for so many medicines?  I wonder why can't we just go on the Internet, research our illness, and then just buy the drug.

Well, a lot of frustrated people like me can find help from unscrupulous doctors and drug sellers.  That is what has happened to those women seeking beautiful, long eyelashes, like the ones that Brooke Shields got from Latisse.  It is so easy to buy Latisse online as long as you have a credit card.

It turns out there is a reason why the FDA decides which drugs are safe enough to be sold over-the-counter, while others need a prescription from a doctor.  As New York Times points out, "Most people use Latisse, a topical solution, with few, if any, complaints. But the drug can cause redness, itchiness and irritation, which go away if use is discontinued. Less common is eyelid discoloration, which Allergan, the manufacturer, says “may be reversible.” A rare side effect that has captured the most attention is the chance that one’s hazel or blue eyes could turn brown — forever."

So if you want beautiful eyelashes, just visit your family doctor and if you are otherwise fit, you are good to go.  Just do not rely on your local nail salon or spa to give that to you.
